![]() You can't open the help file when choosing what spell to research, which I guess is just as well since the spell definitions are pretty useless. If you don't like the text font or the text size is too small, there is no way to change it. On-line manuals may be useful for looking things up once you know them, but for learning what is going on I find them completely useless and utterly annoying. They are all individually listed on separate pages in the manual. For example what do all the icons on the map mean or the progression of buildings and what they allow you to build. There is no nice summary that I can find. When going through the on-line help there are hyperlinks, so these are good, but there is no way to go back to the previous page, so it is a one way path down the maze and to go back one step you need to remember all your steps after you initially entered the maze. In fact you get every entry with the letters orc in it (force, scorching, etc.). For example if you search for 'orc' you do in fact get 'orc', along with all the Sorcery entries too. ![]() There is a search feature, but it isn't as useful as one would hope for. pdf manual should be, you have to open up and dig through the menu entries to find what you want. If you want to find something you can't just look at the other screen where the. You can't see the map with the manual open. There is no way to play the game with the manual open, you have to stop the game open the manual. It is one of the annoying in game reference books. Does work under Win-7 64 bit however.Ģ) There is NO manual. ![]() I have played around with AoW 3, and so far it is a mixed bag.ġ) Cannot get it to run under Win-XP SP3 32bit.
